Experience
I’ve been around quite some time and I have seen and taken a variety of roles. I’ve gone through a PhD programme, enjoyed it a lot but really preferred the materialistic benefits of higher-paying jobs than what French Academia has to offer. I’ve worked on small and extremely-large systems, microteams to mega-corp. I’ve done research, development, and operational work and found an interest in each of these fields.
- current First hire at Echoes
- Architect at Veepee
- #SRE at Google London
- Early #engineer at Scaleway
- #PhD Student at UPMC Sorbonne Universités / Technicolor
- Break-year at PurpleLabs (became Myriad Group)
Besides, you’ll find a number of #talks, presentation, and document templates for tech leaders and SREs on my Talks page.
Personal
My name is Lucas DiCioccio. I prefer to define myself as a scientist/engineer generalist. However I lean and find creative ways to apply advanced techniques to software engineering. I am also a learning-dad and an hobbyist photographer.
Automated selfie
I now automatically generate a selfie sometimes when I update this website:
